Dynamic light on my first morning in Tórshavn. The rain, wind, and jet lag was tugging at my motivation, but I ventured out anyways. Glad I did, made some of my favorite images on that first day. I find I do some of my best work when I’m exhausted or sick, helps get my head out of the way.

Back from the Faroe Islands

I was lucky to spend a couple of weeks in these incredible Islands. Wind swept fjords fall into the frothy blue North Atlantic, sheep perch impossibly on rocky cliffs and sea birds dart here and there attempting to find purchase in the wind with their strained wings. The Faroe Islands have Norway’s fjords, Iceland’s Drama and Scotland’s Mystery .
