Being an incredibly dry winter last season, I did not expect much in the realm of flowers up in Crested Butte this Summer.
There were some good patches here and there, but overall the flowers were pretty stressed this season. I did find some nice corn lilies in a very wet area in June. The close focus distance on the 90mm lens for my Fuji Panoramic camera is about 6 feet, so I had to get up on a ladder to accommodate this distance. Standing on top of a 10 foot ladder with my tripod fully extended proved to be….interesting, but doable!
Huge thanks to @alexburkephoto for the amazing drum scan of this slide!
