Black and White Miniatures (Finished Portfolio)
There is something quite rewarding in seeing how a body of work comes together, especially one that was created over multiple outings, and a span of 4 months.
My initial idea was to go and photograph the beautiful Skyland Boulders in the falling snow.
But something else caught my eye while I was out there, something unexpected.
Each one of these little sticks had its own personality, its own unique expression.
I honestly don’t think I created these personalities, I merely found them while wandering amongst the Aspen, and photographed them.
It is said great portraits are not taken, they are given. Could this also be true of inanimate objects?
I believe so.
