It’s Not About The Camera

AuthorPosted byRaynor Czerwinski on December 7, 2013|2 Comments on It’s Not About The Camera

As I looked at the incredible reflection in Bear Lake, my first thought was, “Wow, this is quite beautiful.”  My second thought was, “This would be even better had I remembered my camera gear.”

Fortunately, my wife was nice enough to loan me her 7 year old point and shoot camera.

As Canon states:
“With a full 6.0 megapixels of amazing imaging power and a high-quality 4x optical zoom lens, the super-intuitive PowerShot A540 is ready to produce impressive results.”

And I say, with a current value of $38 on ebay, you can’t go wrong!

Camera gear is good, but
being in the right place at the right time
is better.

I have 4 overnight “Gothic Ski-Tour Photo Workshops” scheduled for this upcoming winter season.

Friday January 3rd 11:00am to Saturday January 4th 12:00pm

Monday February 3rd 11:00am to Tuesday February 4th 12:00pm

(Few Spaces Left) Saturday March 1st 11:00am to Sunday March 2nd 12:00pm

(Sold Out) Sunday March 16th 12:00pm to Monday March 17th 12:00pm

All workshops involve an easy/moderate ski tour and overnight stay at the luxurious Maroon Hut in the historic town of Gothic.

All Workshops have a maximum of 6 people and cost $235. The cost includes one-on-one photographic instruction, as well as lodging fees at the Maroon hut. We will discuss and coordinate group dinner, breakfast, and snacks a few days prior to the workshop date.

It just so happens that I’m also an experienced chef and will be cooking your dinner for the evening.
