Working on taking minimal portraits of the mountains around Crested Butte. So far Ive got 4 I’m happy with:-)

Its been a lot of fun trying to find the perfect foregrounds for this little project. Its actually quite difficult finding these white bare canvases here in Crested Butte. There are a ton of distractions in the snow, houses, trees, bushes etc. Specific weather conditions have to also be present as well….Overcast and not snowing too hard. There are not many days where the value of the sky is the same as the snow out here, but when they show up, you can have a lot of fun creating abstract images.
